Getting on the Right Train

I’m Chris. I graduated with a BFA in ceramics and printmaking a very long time ago. Life happened and a long list of jobs ensued, from studio potter, to writer, to Krav Maga instructor, to Equine Therapy instructor, to Maintenance Director. I’ve been interviewing jobs for far too many years.

But, sometimes in the foreground and too long in the background, I have always been a visual artist -even when I didn’t want to admit it to myself. Starting out professionally after college as a studio potter, I’ve also illustrated and written for small publications, created maps for world builders, and painted portraits. Currently, watercolor with a little gouache for details is my first choice in mediums, with oils running a close second.

Join me as I get myself back on the right train and do what I was always supposed to do.
